This was our first cruise and first time on a SilverSeas Cruise Ship. We were pleased with the ship as we weren't interested in crowds, water slides or rock climbing walls. Everything went perfectly with the trip to San Juan and transfer to the ship! We were met with glasses of bubbly and cold clothes to freshen up! We went on to the lunch buffet and before long we were notify that our room was ready. So impressed with the service that SilverSeas staff provided. no matter where you were on the ship. We were in a Suite on deck 5 which was lovely and we spent hours on our veranda, absolutely thrilled. On the second day our neighbors from hell moved in next to us, they evidently had already been moved from somewhere else on the ship. They were loud, obnoxious, and rude whether they were inside their room or on their veranda. You could hear them coming down the hall and every word they yelled at each other no matter what time of the night it as. We eventually spoke to the ship and long story short, they offered us to be moved to the Medallion Suite on deck 7...as lovely as that was we didn't have a veranda, the thing we loved the most. We so appreciate the ship offering that as the situation was very frustrating to have such rude folks next door to us. Really put a damper on this part of our trip. We celebrated an anniversary and our butler helped us celebrate with balloons, roses, scented bath and candles and a wonderful cake. Thank you.
Our butler was wonderful and it was arranged that he came with us to deck 7.
Food and service was great. La Dame was good but did not warrant the $60 per person cover charge. Excursions were good, we should not have stopped at Tortola as it just was not ready for tourist, so we stayed on the ship.
