This particular cruise was a good value. I am always impressed with the amount of food/entertainment/amenities that are included in your fare. It was a relaxing week that allowed me to move at my own pace. I did not feel rushed in anyway and didn't have to do anything that I didn't want to. The "Your Time Dining" is the way to go in terms of not feeling rushed nor tied to a specific time frame. I took this cruise with some girlfriends and we all enjoyed ourselves. The only drawbacks were the fact that smoking was allowed basically all over the ship and made it hard for non-smokers to enjoy certain activities. Also, the disembarkation process was horrific! We were herded like cattle in particular parts of the ship and made to wait for hours before being able to leave the ship. This definitely need improving. Other than that, It was great!
For a cabin that was supposed to house four adults for a week, I expected a little more space. The room was extremely small and I spent my time on a very low folding bed. There was only one "regular" bed in the cabin the other two were bunks. Because of the weird layout of the room and positioning of the beds, it was hard for everyone to watch the television. I understand that the Fascination is an older ship, but the idea of housing four adults in those rooms needs to be revisited.
Enjoyed my tour with driver "Big Apple". The island was awesome.
Walked around the town area of St. Kitts, but there was nothing spectacular to see and the town itself was not pretty. The port area that has the shops however, was very pretty and welcoming.
