This will be a short review ! We flew in early to New Orleans and enjoyed 3 days before sailing. We love travelling on NCL and overall our experience was great. We took several family members this time - just to get out of the cold really. We really didn't care about the ports of call as we had been to them before.

Our cabin was a balcony and on the smaller side but still our wonderful room stewards made everything wonderful. Thank you ! The food was fabulous and we love NCL's freestyle dining. We ate in Cagneys twice. The music duo that is on there - Margie and Sam - what a voice she has ! He played the big bass and also some of our favorite Dixieland tunes - so talented. We are on their mailing list so whenever we can cruise with them we do. The Cruise Director Paul was fantastic - full of energy and the best yet. The only disappointment was a guy called Buster Freeze - TERRIBLE !!!!!!! Out of tune and in general just RUDE. Where did they find him? We love that lounge but the minute he started we left. Unfortunately it echoed through the Atrium so if we walked by we heard it ! The shows were energetic. As you can tell we love entertainment but were disappointed with the exception of Margie and Sam duo and the Cruise Director. Overall we had a great cruise. The Spirit is a really pretty ship and the crew were fantastic.
