I travelled with daughter, son in law and granddaughter and flew from Dublin to Venice. A private transfer from the airport to the ship had been arranged by our travel agent. Embarkation went very smoothly and quickly, helped by the fact I had requested assistance due to mobility problems.

We had two adjoining cabins on deck 9 with the Fantastica Package. The cabins were very spacious with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The beds were very comfortable. The shower was very efficient and the shower gel and shampoo, although not the best, were OK. Our cabin steward kept the cabins spotless throughout the cruise and he was always very polite and very cheerful. The ship itself was spotlessly clean and staff would be seen keeping it so.

We were assigned 1st sitting for dinner at 7 pm (second sitting was 9.15pm - too late for us). The tables were very close together and at times we felt we were actually sitting with the adjoining tables. Luckily we had some very nice fellow passengers each side of us!
