We have been on 20+ cruises with the TUI group but not on this ship. We used the Thomson shop to book as my husband needed a welfare taxi (this is free and very helpful of TUI). The shop staff know our needs and they spent hours on the phone trying to book us a cabin with shower but NO bath. Seems their call centre is in South Africa and staff were unhelpful and rude. Eventually managed (we thought to book one). £45 to secure.

Flight was good, taxi waiting and check in went smoothly but gangway really steep. We cannot fault the crew who had to carry my husband up and down but this put us off disembarking in most ports. As usual all staff were lovely and our thanks go Lara from reception who managed to change our cabin on the third day, Amy, bar manager who reserved us VIP seats in the Broadway lounge. Also Clemente who assisted and brought us drinks and Leroy Brown who seemed to sort us in which ever restaurant we ate in.

It was a hassle going around the ship. Lifts were small and we sometimes waited 20 mins for a wheelchair space and door ramps were too steep for little me. But lovely fellow guests often helped. Especial thanks to Janet and John for their kindness and friendship.

Cabin Review

Cabin outside standard

Comfy bed and enough drawer and hanging space, met expectations
