Always wanted to see New Zealand and Australia. Overall I am happy I went.I booked My flights through Celebrity- "mistake". I flew Cathay Pacific through Hong Kong to Auckland,NZ. The return from Perth Australia had a five hour layover in Hong Kong, a 36hr+trip.I later learned Air New Zealand had a direct flight out of San Francisco. My prearranged transportation dropped me about a block from the terminal with all my bags. Room accomedations were nice. My second Celebrity Cruise and five royal carribian Cruises. Was surprised there were no facilities to do your own laundry and would cost $50 for a medium seze bag of clothing. This was also the first time I had personel bagger me to eat in the speciality resturants. Photagrefers were also persistant in trying to get you to pose with various mascots.

I enjoyed my dining experiences, spa pampering, shore tours. The nightly shows were wonderful with one exception - the camedian. Bands, DJs and opportunities to dance good. I would consider doing Celebrity again but I would hesetatate to pick Solstice. The customer relations staff was wonderful.

Cabin Review

Ocean View 7

Cabin 07

The room itself was adequete. The only issue we had was with the sink stopper. Maintainance was quick to respond and fix it, the second time it came loose we just delt with it. Our cabin steward bent over backward to make our stay the best it could be. Thank you Rockman (sp?).
