Loved the itinerary, not much to do on ship - but you're never on it!

I just got off this cruise and we had a great time. [FYI, we sailed out of Puerto Rico to Charlotte Amelie, St. Thomas; Bassterre, St. Kitts; St. Johns, Antigua; St.Lucia; and Bridgetown, Barbados]The ship is incredibly well run. Embarkation and Disembarkation were smooth as silk and involved minimal lines/standing around. The itinerary was wonderful - we were in 6 places (if you count Puerto Rico) in 7 days. There was only one day at sea. The staff is friendly, the ship clean and orderly. There just isn't terribly much to do on it. It's smallish, so there are only 2 free places to eat (the Main Dining Room, Tides, and the Windjammer buffet). The food gets a bit samey, which isn't terrible on a 7 day trip. But toward the end, it did get a bit dulll. I liked the Windjammer breakfasts, but it was almost identical. Same is true for the buffet lunch and desserts. Dinner in the Main Dining Room was tasty, but a lot of the same things repeated (escargot everyday, really?). Almost exactly the same appetizers every night, entrees and desserts were the same or similar. Still, the staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and efficient. You never had to wait or look around to find someone to get you something. And we enjoyed what we were eating...we just were hoping for some surprises along the way.

As to the destinations, I thought they were all rather beautiful, though Magens Bay in St. Thomas was overrated. The most beautiful beach? Not really. But we had a good time everywhere we went, enjoyed some fun excursions and overall had a lovely, romantic trip. I haven't really any complaints.

We had a balcony room which was smaller when compared to other ships, but the space was well arranged and the balcony was quite deep. We were fine with the trade off.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Not terribly large (the smallest balcony room I've ever been in) but the balcony is deep and the room itself is so efficiently arranged that it worked comfortably.. There's tons of storage (you'd be surprised at how many things have shelves hidden behind them) and the closet had a lot of hangers provided. The cabin steward, Shirlee, kept the place looking immaculate. And we got towel animals!
