The cruise line would not permit my nurse to accompany me into the diamond club lounge even though we shared an expensive owners suite cabin. I am handicapped and use a wheelchair. I feel that I have been denied privledges that I deserve and have earned. My nurse has never cruised before and was denied access. My wheelchair requires a pusher and is not solo operated. I booked my owners suite solely for it closeness to the diamond club lounge. I chose not to leave the ship for shore activities as it would be too big a hassle with the wheelchair. I am also 76 and my zip line days are behind me. I enjoyed the spacious balcony and the fresh air. I am very disappointed in RCI for their lack of concern for disabled persons. The Oasis should be “ bigger” on these issues ! It would have been so simple to fix this oversight.
