Like all my other reviews, this review will be long.

Embarkation and Debarkation 10/8/17

We booked the Hampton Inn and Suites Orlando Airport through Go Port Canaveral. It’s farther from the port than we like to be but we were spending the day before our cruise at Legoland. This hotel was a good halfway point to spend the night. The hotel is close to the airport but there was surprisingly little airport noise. There are several chain restaurants and a nail salon right across the street. Our 2 queen-bed room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast offered a good variety and the hotel had a 24 hour coffee and tea station.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D4

This cabin seemed smaller than the ones we had on the Independence and the Navigator. They’ve changed cabin category names now so it’s hard to compare. The desk is awkwardly placed by the balcony door. The TV is also built into the desk area. The sofa pulls out to a full-sized bed. The balcony has a table and two chairs, not loungers or the chairs with the adjustable back. The closet is right next to the bed. It seems small but we were able to hang our clothes and fit two suitcases in there with no issues.

The bathroom seems to have more floor space than other cabin bathrooms we’ve stayed in. There are storage cubbies next to the sink but very little counter space. The sink bowl is also ridiculously small and shallow. Location-wise, it’s not terrible. It's close to the elevators.
