Hi.. Let me start by stating we traveled with my 19 yr old daughter her 20yr old boyfriend and my son 17yrs. We also traveled with four friends of ours. We stayed at I believe it was the airport Ramada in Ft Lauderdale and we paid 10.00 a day to leave our vehicle there and take the shuttle bus to the cruise. Embarkation had its issues first time I have ever had to wait an hour to board, but this will happen because it is a new ship. We got on the ship and I was in AWE. It was beautiful we found our rooms all cleaned and ready. Soon after we received our bags and its now time for muster drill. Which was the shortest most comfortable ever. We went to one of the theatre's and they had the info on TVs placed all over the theatre that was it. Our room was a balcony it was kinda small I thought for a balcony, the worst was the little bitty tiny sink. It was clean and the Bed was so comfortable I did not want to get out of it. All the spaces on the ship were nothing like I have seen. The shows Top Notch!! We did not do the pools we have a pool at home not a priority for us. Casino was the biggest I have ever seen half of the casino is smoking and half is non smoking. No smoking at the bar in the casino but you can smoke at the little tables by the bar. No cigar bar which I missed I love the smell of cigars, my husband loves to smoke cigars. You can smoke in a small corner of the Bolero Latin themed club. At the Schooner you can smoke at the bar only. At Blaze you can smoke in the corner feels like your in a dungeon. Dazzles upstairs towards the back only. Im not sure why so many non smokers complain there are many more non smoking areas than smoking. The restaurants on board were outstanding we ate at Chops great steaks. Giovanni's was great best tiramasu I have had. Central Park Cafe was my favorite made to order salads and sandwiches and wraps. They had a couple parties in the Royal promenade which were great. My 17yr old son stayed on the flowrider the whole time. We had paid for him to lessons the very first night we were on the ship and then he was hooked. My husband and my son and few other boys rented the flowrider for two hours, it was great. There were a couple things that were problems. We had 118,000 points on our RC Visa card and had received our coupons in the mail I copied them and mailed them into RCCL for 1250.00 OBC. I called before we left for the cruise and they had said they received them and we're on our account. When we got on the Boat only 300.00 was on our account They great lady Hayley at the pursers desk helped us it took a few days and 1250.00 finally showed up. BOA and RCCL need to get together and make this a user friendly program. The towels were a issue if you need a pool towel you have to check them out. The last night of the cruise my kids received a note that they did not turn a towel in. My son took it right down and checked it in and they still charged us 20.00 and 20.00 on my daughters account. One more thing was in St Maarten we had purchased a bottle of Huckleberry Liquor that is made on the island. When we came on the ship they took it and said they would return it the last night of the cruise. Not our first cruise so this was not a problem I knew they would take it away. However they did not return it and had no idea where it was. Other than the few issues I loved the Oasis of Seas and those few things will not and did not ruin a great cruise. We are looking into reserving Allure of the Seas Inaugural.
