Fantastic cruise yet again from P & O.Unfortunately this ship had been struck with the noro virus,which I suppose can happen to any cruise liner,just one of the hazzards,so we were somewhat delayed on getting onboard but we had been pre warned of this via email but we were still allowed to arrive at our allotted time and sit and have a coffee and read papers etc,so no real upset.

We embarked and were shown through to the champagne lunch reception which is such a nice touch and were immediately impressed again by the politeness of all the staff,they are second to none,don't believe some reviews telling you they stand and talk to one another and ignore you,utter rubbish!!!! Treat these hard working men and women with respect and you will get it returned.

This was our first time on Ventura,previously sailing on Oceana and Azura,she is almost identical to the latter.I could not find any dirty areas,rust or tiredness which I had read about. Read more
