Like @GlobtrotterD, 3 out of 4 in our family got sick aboard. I got the same respiratory infection @GlobetrotterD mentioned and I noticed each day that more passengers were suffering from the same cough. It was obvious that that there was an epidemic on board and yet nothing was said or done to address it. It was completely ignored. After returning to Canada, I'm still taking 2 puffers and antibiotics 9 days after contracting the illness.

On the 6th day of the trip and 3 days into the illness, I couldn't take it anymore and went to the ship's hospital. The doctor charged me $200 USD for 10 antibiotic pills and wrote on the box to take 2 pills per day. When I showed my doctor in Canada the box and the doctor's writing, he said that I should have only been taking 1 pill per day so the doctor made an error with the prescription. The fever subsided with the antibiotics thankfully but the bronchitis continues to the time of writing this review. It is one of the worst illnesses I've ever had. It wiped me out for most of the cruise.

I've traveled a lot and stayed in many top hotels and resorts with my family which includes 2 teenage boys. Although this was my family's first (and last) cruise, I know what a 4 star or 5 star vacation is so here are the good and bad things I found with this vacation:

Cabin Review

Cabin Super Family

- The Super Family Suite (2 connecting balcony rooms with connecting balconies) on Deck 10. I know staterooms are small compared to hotel rooms but these rooms really felt crammed. Not a lot of room to put luggage so we had to constantly move it out of the way to get into closet. The balconies also overhung the larger lanai in the rooms one deck below us so we were literally overlooking the couple sunbathing below us on their lounges. We had several awkward moments when they looked directly up at us. just weird. Staff told us that it was a waste of time to open the connecting gate between our balconies because the gate would just make noise as the ship rocked back and forth so we never opened it.

- Our room was in the AFT of the ship and not only did we feel the ship rocking back and forth at night, I also felt the vibration of the motor every night. Very annoying.
