We chose the cruise as an inexpensive getaway. The service was excellent - all RCL staff were attentive and very professional. There were some things to do on the boat but with the CocoCay stop being cancelled, we were forced into 2 days at sea and this ship just simply is not equipped to keep you occupied for 2 full sea days as it lacks a lot of the things now available on the newer ships. The private island beach stop was cancelled due to weather though I honestly could not see why it was such a factor as they even sent the transport boats over on a test run and all seemed okay. I think they simply aired too much on the side of caution which truly hurt the cruise experience as they added nothing to the experience as a substitute. If I was not a local Floridian who lives only about an hour from the port and had traveled to Florida for this cruise, I would have been disappointed. The stop in the Bahamas was excellent though - we got the full day there which allowed for full exploration of the island - Atlantis, shops, beaches, history, culture, etc. All-in-all a good getaway at the right price.

Had a oceanview stateroom but do not know the category. Definitely appreciated the natural sunlight in the room
