Cabin: Mid-Ship Inside

This cruise was selected because it was the best option for a Vancouver - Alaska return cruise. I have cruised well over a dozen times but this was my first time on an NCL ship.

Normally we are welcomed by several of the ships crew members as we step into the ship but there was hardly anyone there. People in my travel group were supposed to report to Deck 12 and arrangements were in place for this, but on boarding, they were told that Deck 12 was closed. It was only closed to the normal passengers, not passengers in my group. There should have been some arrangements to tell people that Deck 12 was open for a specific group and people belonging to this group need to go there.

Staterooms were not accessible at the appointed time; we had to wait beyond 2:00 p.m.
