There were so many places we wanted to return to so we picked this cruise. Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Belfast, Dublin, Liverpool and Guernsey. We had fantastic weather only one afternoon of rain, it was the sunniest July in the North for a long time.
We liked the ship as we prefer smaller vessels. There is a choice of dining besides the main dining room there is the buffet on deck and fine dining for a supplement. The staff were fantastic, the food amazing. The Adonia theatre company were absolutely brilliant, they could sing and dance, and they even put on a play during the at sea days. We liked the "Crows nest" for a quite read or to take part in quizzes and subsequent late night entertainment.
We had an outside cabin, no balcony which was acceptable, the shower area was very small but we are not huge people. The ports of call were the best part of the cruise as they were well chosen. There is hardly any need to go on one of the ships excursion as you can do most of it yourself via the local busses. There is always plenty of information when you arrive at the port at the reception area or local tourist information. There are also shuttle busses available which are free.
Outside cabin, no balcony. Large picture window quite low down so that you can see out when sitting on the bed.
