Our cruise on the Carnival Pride was a wonderful for the most part, however, I found the food in the buffet to be subpar....not even edible except for breakfast. The Guys Burgers were great as usual. The soft serve Ice Cream is always a treat. Pizza was far better than the buffet food, which was tastless, the varieties did not even remotely go together. Shoney's restaurant food would have been better. The dining room food was delicious with the exception of the flat iron steak. Everything else we had was very good. Room service needs better selections for breakfast.....used to be you could get a full breakfast, now just continental.

We stayed in a smal OS Suite, room 6327. I found the room to be average. The electical outlets were all Europen with the exception of one in the bathroom and one for the TV. I have converters but don't remember this issue on my first trip on the pride and may just be certain rooms. Our cabin Steward, Made, was nice enough to find us a power strip for our electronic devices. The Bathroom dressing/make up area was blocked open with a screw, so there was no privacy there....I found that ridiculous. The whole week we got whiffs of what smelled like a sewer. It was very noticible at times near the toilet. The smell was pungent and once we could smell it while in bed, we had to spray often.

I also found a lack of entertainment on this trip. On the first trip there was a couple of bands that played and solo guitarists. This time it was all carnival employees, who were okay but nothing to look forward to go to.

The toilet area smelled like poop and sometimes the room did too. Dressing area door block with a screw. not enough american outlets.
