Chose due to the itinerary. (Southern Caribbean leaving out of San Juan). I was told by a friend the itinarary was a WOW (it was) however the ship was trash. This is my 10th Carnival cruise. All but one on old ships. I know what to expect. Bad room (read below) less than exciting activities, Trouble with getting back on the ship, Rude Guest Services people, Pee on the public restroom floors, almost every day. Noisy library, Food was Carnival norm, but the service was often a mess. They would bring one of our meals half an hour after everyone else. Very choppy design on the ship. I would give this one a NO GO. These over 20 year old ships are starting to really show their age. Carnival needs to put some money into them, or retire them. And as for customer service, put more emphasis on kindness and making customers happy. Not partying and drunkenness.
