Like the title says, this was my third time on the Oasis of the Seas. We had a beautiful ocean balcony room on the eighth floor. Met some wonderful people and our cabin attendant was the best.

Unlike other reviews, I'm not going to go into the food and entertainment, because what they say is pretty accurate. My main problem was on the third day. This cruise was my sons' first cruise. They are nine and eleven and had a blast. On the second day, I was swimming in the H2O zone with my youngest, when after a half hour I decided to go back to my chair and that's when I slipped. That was the worst fall I've ever had. There's a lot I can tough out, but my right leg was behind me and I hit on my right side, rib area. I was in so much pain I couldn't think, talk, or move. I just remember this older gentlemen screaming "Oh my God. Oh my God." The lifeguards blew their whistle, and after some time, I finally was helped up into a wheel chair and taken down to medical.

This is where the disappointment comes. Yes, there was water all over the deck. I was barefooted and walking normally to my chair. Yes, we signed our rights away before cruising. I'm not looking for a handout. But it was the coldness of the medical staff, trying to shrug off responsibility, and putting it on me, where I had a problem. I had tears streaming down my face from being in so much pain, my knee was jacked up and swollen, I couldn't stand or walk, and it seriously hurt to breath. The security came down and wanted to know what shoes I was wearing (none) and if I was running (not since I was eighteen and I'm forty-one). They were all about pushing the blame instead of just showing a little bit of humanity and compassion. That's all I wanted. That's all I needed at that moment.
