I am a gold-card member, and this will be the last cruise I take with carnival. Not only did they have an excursion which I waited at the bench in the hot sun for two hours before an employee finally told me "Oh well, it isn't happening, take it with guest services when you get back on the ship." The concierge then refused to refund the money.
Remember when all the little snack places were open all the time and had nice food? Well, they still do, but everything costs money now.
No lavish meals at the sit-down dinners either. Hope you don't mind paying extra for a filet or lobster, because it isn't on the menu anymore at all unless you want an up-charge.

Clean, and they had one plug in the entire room. The staff was great, the rest was not so good. The TV barely ever got reception and the balcony outside would give you splinters if you rubbed your hand down it.
