We are 12 times cruisers, 3 with silversea. We were looking forward to being on a new ship as the last Silversea ship had some problems with leaks into our suite, it was due for refurb. The new dining arrangements on Silver Muse didn't suit us and from speaking with other guests onboard they all agreed. The fact that there was no dining room where you could walk up and ask to be sat at a table of 4 or 6 took a lot of the joy of cruising away. We enjoy talking with other guest from around the world over dinner. I spoke with the ship's hotel manager and he acknowledged they had a problem and were looking at ways to remedy. It is a big problem for him with the ship's design not suitable to have a "main dining room".
Other than the dining problem most other aspects of the cruise went well, the staff were efficient and friendly, we enjoyed the trivia, ( where we met other guests), the ports were interesting and the weather was kind to us. We may cruise with Silversea again but NEVER on Silver Muse if the dining arrangements remain the same.
Spacious with a comfy bed. Good storage. The only problem was the ultra modern TVs located in the mirrors meant you could hear the TV from next door? One wonders if there was a trial of this new technology or were we the test pilots? Many complaints around the ship from other cruisers with the same problem.
