We had a positive experience traveling on the lower Mississippi with the ship, America. The ports were of interest, while the historian provided much information, in an entertaining manner, about each one. The staterooms were spacious, each with a balcony and full bath. We enjoyed the cuisine as well as the many passengers with whom we dined. All ship personnel were highly professional and efficient.

There were several areas in which the cruise could be improved:
