Additional details

Sail Date: Apr 2017
Cabin: Oceanview Stateroom
Very comfortable sun chairs.
Taking pictures of sea wild life from the boat.
Breakfast on the deck while cruising
Meeting the officers on arriving on board
Birding at "Cabo de gata" Spain, private excursion with a taxi .

We choose this cruise because :

1. We sailed on this ship in 1996 , originally she was called Club med 1 , we always wanted to cruise again on this sister ship of the Club med 2 on which we are 35 cruises repeaters . Both ships were built by the same company.

2. we like ship with a lot of space on the deck where it is possible to have all meals on the deck if the weather permit

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin A

Cabin is similar the cabin on Club med 2 , it is well designed in a marine spirit for storage in the bath room and the wardrobe, the finitions are good , easy to use with plenty of space to store the luggages and dressings.

On deck one the waves of sea water reached the Windows , from time to time it may be surprising for the first time cruisers but it is normal.

One critic would be the noise of the cabin doors lockers and the limited range of temperatures on the air con no shut off.

Port Reviews

Lisbon

We have been several times to Lisbon the city is charming and there is a lot of spot to visit we recommend th Avenida palace as a pre cruise hotel close to the embarkation point.

Tangier

Knowing marocco but not Tanger in particular we have been to the Perdicaris park mostly visited by the local people on wend end for birding it was not so good but intersting

Cartagena (Spain)

Again an interesting city to visit walking through the little street and a roman theater included in a museum .

Ibiza

My wife went shopping... many boutiques and I went birding in a wet area that the government is trying to restore to protect wild life . A free shuttle drove us to the city center I stopped before the city in a possible birding place.

IMPORTANT : The assistant to the Cruise manager would present each day the next day stop over and comment in details the different aspects of the stop , from historical , geographical, gastronomical view points etc ... without beeing strictly linked to the excursions.

Malaga

Malaga is a beautiful city could also be a departure point for cruises , excellent for shopping of visiting the antique stone buildings.
