This is our 2nd time aboard the Marina. In 2015 we traveled the Baltics for 10 days. Because of that experience, Oceania was chosen again. What an amazing trip! Overall, service was exceptional. The Cruise Director, Peter, was upbeat and hilarious! Every time we saw him, he was wearing a different, amazing suit. The entertainment was... ok.... but the effort was there. The food was spectacular and other than one night, the service was exceptional. Being on a ship for 17 days, they recognize you and know what you like and want. The Hostess at the Grand dining room was AMAZING!!! The first night we dined there... as we were leaving she thanked us by name! Next time we came back, not only did she remember our names, but also room number! There were 5 rooms and 7 people in our party. That's beyond impressive. The only problems we had were with the internet. Yes, you're in the middle of the ocean and at the end of the world, but with satellites etc we expected better service. Plus, you had to constantly log in. The tv stations were not that good either. While you're there to vacation, I go to sleep with the tv on. I had trouble finding something to watch. It was news and one tv show. Usually, Elementary.

You can only schedule one specialty restaurant per person and there are 4. But, if you go to the reservation desk early in the morning they can usually get you into a restaurant of your choice.
