Visited the Caribbean 6 years ago on the Ventura, and decided to return again to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. We were worried close to the time of the cruise due to the number of negative reviews, but we had the best holiday of our lives and would highly recommend.

We loved the ship, she's beautiful and looks smart and classy. We have been on the Ventura, Azura and Oceana, and although the Ventura is our favourite, we found Britannia spacious, and she never felt crowded. You should always get a sunbed, there are plenty, you just may not get right next to a pool on a sea day.

The best thing we found about the ship was the staff. Everyone was so polite, friendly, hard working and professional, always happy to help and talk. How they manage to stay so cheerful with the moaners about is beyond me.Some people seem to cruise so often that they just seem to spend their time nit picking!

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony

Our cabin was E735, and was lovely, although we did get a lot of vibration. This was helped a bit with some strategically placed padding (e.g behind T.V). The top bunk nearest the wall is quite badly affected when down. After a few days we just got used to it. The bathroom is compact, but well thought out, and there is plenty of room for dressing. There were 4 of us, (children aged 9 and 12) and with the bunks down there is still room to get out to the balcony. The balcony is compact, but sufficient for your table and 2 chairs, although if there are four of you you can't sit out together. Our cabin steward Cherrington was superb, and our room always kept lovely and clean.
