We chose this cruise to visit the Amalfi coast and ports we had not visited before.

Though some of the destinations may not have been our first choice the shore excursions were excellent.

The food, staff and service were superb in the main restaurant and the public areas.

Port Reviews

Venice

History meets the modern world.

Cruising slowly down the Grand Canal is impressive.

Zadar

Great for shopping and scenic views.

Taormina (Messina)

Can be busy, we used the Big Red Tour bus to get our bearings, well worth it.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Just a gentle walk to a restaurant and the local shops.

Florence (Livorno)

Visiting the usual tourist haunts with everyone else.

You just need to do it.

Monaco (Monte Carlo)

Big Red bus again round the principality, past the casino, the opera house and up to the Palace, then on to the car museum, just fabulous.

Marseille

Courtesy bus to the town then a train ride to the Cathedral de Notre Dam.

Very picturesque situated around the harbour.
