We took advantage of the two for one promotion and were first timers with MSC (they had me at loyalty match!) and despite the reviews we had a great time. The ship was beautiful and clean, the crew was not overly assertive (fine by me) and being around so many other cultures was pretty cool. Getting on the ship was the easiest and quickest process in all of my years of cruising, it was remarkable!

There were a few things I did miss after going on other cruise lines and that was the comedy shows, movies playing during the day by the pool and a bit more activity options during the day. Other than that, I don't really have any complaints, the food was very good especially in the buffet. The portions were a bit small in the dining room but I was never concerned about ever going hungry.

Great value, love the loyalty match and their new private island that is coming in 2017 or 2018 Ocean Cay, don't let the reviews scare you. It was lovely.
