We have cruised on Celebrity and many cruises on Azamara in the past. My wife's cousin and her husband were very pleased with the complete, all inclusive Regent experience, so we decided to give it a try. We did read a number of reviews on the Mariner and while most of the reviews were very good there were a number or write ups that were not so positive. We did not see any evidence of the complaints.

Within a few days on the Mariner, we were very pleased with our decision to try Regent cruises. So much so that we booked an 18 day cruise on the Voyager while on board. Overall the Mariner was very clean and was surprised to learn that the Mariner was scheduled to go in for refurbishment early next year.

We landed in Miami and were met at the airport exit by Regent agents. From there were were transfer to the Miami cruise ship terminal for boarding.
