We are both in our mid-50's and love Disney. We have lived in FL since 1986 and have done the WDW resort numerous times (with and without our children!) We appreciate Disney's way of doing things: their organization, attention to detail, and overall goal of pleasing their public.  We found the same to be true of their cruise. It was wonderful! From the ship itself, to the staff, the food, entertainment, Castaway Cay - I can only smile and say we truly enjoyed ourselves.

If you will read the review from May 2009 posted by MoonieLisa, I think you get a very good idea of what the Disney Wonder has to offer.  Her comments and praise are right on the money as far as I am concerned so I will not repeat what she has already written.  I would like to reinforce the notion, however, that there are enough "adult only" areas that at no time did we feel over run by the kiddies.  And for having so many children aboard, the ship was remarkably quiet. We especially liked the Route 66 entertainment area for adults. The pianist in the Cadillac Lounge (Mark) was excellent and played 3 of the 4 nights. Equally nice for during the day was the Adult Quiet Cove pool and adjoining seating area. The furniture was a step above that in the other pool areas (as well as on other cruise lines we've been on) and was oh! so comfortable. Serenity Bay on Castaway Cay was wonderful.

To follow up on a few points made by MoonieLisa:

Cabin Review

Standard Inside Stateroom

For a standard inside cabin, this was probably the largest we have had in 10 cruises on various cruise lines. It was quiet and conveniently located between two banks of eevators. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked great. The BR had a small tub/shower combination as compared to the ever-popular mini shower. Full size spa products were included which we have not seen on RCCL in 2-3 years..
