We just wanted a short break and this fitted the bill for my daughter and I, she is 31 and I am 62. We were in cabin E120.I have been on Venture on a 14 nighter but my daughter had never cruised before. Ship was still nice and kept clean and tidy.
We only ate in the buffet restaurant and we both said the food was excellent. On the last night there was the most flavorsome indian selection. The roast was good too. We also went for the cream tea's there....very nice. We used room service for breakfast and one night for dinner. We wanted a laid back cruise so did not attend the formal night but enjoyed dinner in the cabin and a couple of films. (Sad I know)
The theater show was "Walk like a Man" (jersey boys), Brilliant show. Live singers in the Havana bar were a "Take That" group of 3. BUT...........and a BIG BUT !!!!
The room was fine, Dont be put off by the restricted view. I think the view was good enough to see as much as is needed, which was a lot more than I expected Plenty of room for 2 adults to move around. Good hairdryer. Toiletries by "The White Shop" provided.(Shampoo conditioner and body lotion also shower gel and bath cap). Our bed linen was not changed during our 3 night stay. The towels were fine but obviously had seen better days. The bed was very comfortable. There was next to no noise at all in this cabin. On a 3 night trip we just bobbed around in the channel on very calm waters, very quiet. Convienient floor to be on 8 and not too far from lift at less busy end of ship.
