My wife tried for many years to convince me to go on a cruise it was only because the holiday to Tunisia went pear shaped that i agreed [ wish i had done it years ago ] Am a Chef so as all Chef will do i looked for fault and there was a couple of small things nothing to drastic to mention , The service was exceptional nothing was to much trouble for any member of staff from cleaners who kept our room [ ty Olga ] to the window polishers and carpet sweepers the waiters and the barmen and the gods of the ships are of course the Chefs some of you may sneer at this comment but if you take a moment to think you always remember a bad meal above anything else!!!! What to was the smile the staff gave you [ not all of them sometimes you got a Grrr but who can smile 24-7 ] We stayed on ship for 7 days and also had a 4 day stay at a hotel in malaga but we get to that , The cabin was neat and tidy a small fridge would have been welcome but you had your cabin crew who providing you with buckets of ice when reacquired word of warning don't drink the cans of pop in your room there not free also don't eat eat the cartons of snacks or drink the bottled water none of it free or cheap for uk citizens the cost of a can of coke is roughly 50p depends where you buy it lol on ship in ur cabin it will cost you $1.80 - my uk pound sign knackered lol ] the pringles cost on ship 2.25 for the small one water 2.50 ok your on holiday i get it but remember if your a uk citizen your stirling is worth the same as a euro 1 euro = i uk pound perhaps a few ps in it not much tho. Entertainment and activities they are what you make them there was a games room where we played cards at met some fantastic people who will be friends for ever , some people had eating and drinking as a activity lol The excursions are top on everyone's list of things to do but they are expensive do your own thing when you can go explore, not in Morocco tho stick to a tour scary place lol , cocktails are a must on board but always try to get ither all inclusive or get a drinks package you will drink things you wouldn't normally try, the drinks package may cost you a bit more but i promise you that you will sigh with relief when you see what you get also amazed at the amount you would have to pay for not only alcohol but soft drinks as well as coffee and tea [ you get those free at breakfast also with lunch after that you pay ] so pay the extra before you go or look for or demand in a cute way for a all inclusive package , Am looking for my next cruise i cant see me wanting to go on any other big holiday on anything else but a cruise, ok a week in the canary islands for a small holiday lol I want to meet the person who doesn't love what ever ship they travel on it turned me around !!!!
