This was our fifth Viking cruise and first Ocean cruise. It was fabulous and everything we hoped it would be. The ship and amenities were wonderful. I think the design of the ship made everything seem bigger yet very intimate. The 930 passengers seemed to meld into the spaces. Never did we feel crowded. The ports were perfect and the tours and guides were first class. (the usual Viking standard)

We thought that because Viking was new to this type of cruise that everything might not go smoothly, but that was not the case at all. The attention to detail that we have found on the river cruises was just as good.

The food was equally as good or better and the gourmet restaurants were a nice treat. The getting aboard and leaving the ship were also handled very efficiently as well. We can't wait to plan our next Viking trip.
