Cabin: Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

This was our first cruise and not sure what to expect. Boy! We were not disappointed.

After an upsetting start to the day (our friends luggage had not arrived at the airport), we missed out on the "wow" factor when arriving at the ship, but once settled and after exploring the ship we were overwhelmed by the décor and friendliness of the staff.

We chose this cruise for the destinations and loved every one of them. We took one ship excursion to Pompeii with lunch and the Amalfi Coast, which was breathtaking. We would recommend this excursion, but it is not ideal for anyone with a disability or have walking difficulties. It's a very fast paced excursion and flooring is uneven in Pompeii.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Our Stateroom was large enough for the both of us and spotlessly clean. The bed was big and comfortable.

Our Stateroom was cleaned to a high standard twice a day by our lovely, helpful Stateroom Supervisor Marianne. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

On a less positive note, the décor in our Stateroom looked a little tired and not as plush as we expected.

Port Reviews

Taormina (Messina)

We walked into Messina from the ship. A pretty little town.

Mykonos

We took the tender boat into Mykonos. What a stunning place. I will be returning.

Kusadasi

We met friends at Kusadasi and had lots of fun around the bazaars. Huge tip! Try the local Council run cafes and restaurants. True Turkish food at an excellent price.

Love, Love, Love Kusadasi.

Athens (Piraeus)

Too the hop on and off tour bus from the port. Best way to see Athens and the sights.

Santorini

Gorgeous, amazing place. A must.

Beware of the queues at the cable car.
