We have been on many Viking River cruises and greatly enjoyed all of them, and we always wanted to see the Fjords, so this was a perfect fit.

Embarkation and disembarkation went well, although the embarkation lines were very long, and we had to wait for our stateroom to be ready. The ship was new and beautiful, with many amenities. The cabin was very comfortable and had plenty of space and storage. The food was excellent, and we were able to order some things that we wanted that weren't actually on the menu. The entertainers were excellent, and the shows were varied. We didn't participate much in any other on-board activities. The service was fine - our porter was very pleasant and accommodating.

The ports were interesting, and the views not only at the ports but especially during cruising were gorgeous. The only problem we had was being able to book the "included" shore excursions, which were mostly "sold out" by the time we tried to book them before the cruise. This involved much disappointment and confusion, but in the end they actually were able to include everything they originally had said they would, so it all worked out.
