To start, my party was a group of 9 with 4 adults and 5 teenagers. The cruise was a 7 day eastern Caribbean cruise. Before the cruise I spent hours on line reading all of the cruise reviews and as the cruise approached I began to get worried.

The good: There were only 4 good things about the cruise: One was the cabin service. I never once ran into my steward and the room was cleaned 3 times a day. It would have been nice though if they put pieces of chocolate on the pillows a night or folded extra towels on the bed in animal shapes like on other major cruises. The rooms were well decorated and had a pleasant feel. The pillows were not as bad as people made it seem on this web page. The second good thing about the cruise was its cleanliness. There were people shining all of the brass non stop. There are a million hand sanitizers throughout the ship that are almost always full, maybe because only we used them. The public bathrooms are also clean and abundant. The ones towards the front of the ship on deck 13 have an amazing view of the water. There are also hundreds of mirrors on the cruise so if you don't like to way you look, don't go on the boat. The third good thing was the desert (minus the flan). The vanilla ice cream was fantastic and I ordered that every night with the other dessert. Even the sugar free deserts were spectacular. The final good thing about the boat was embarkation, it took us an hour to get on the boat, we arrived at 10, and were on the boat by 11. The people were a little rude though while boarding.

The Bad: Food: Everything else about the cruise was horrible. The food was never hot, dinner took to long, and we were always served last. We tried to eat every meal in the restaurant and the most disappointing of them all was breakfast. They had the same menu everyday for the whole cruise. I tried to get the Eggs Benedict but found that nobody on the cruise knows how to cook and egg. Everyday my eggs were hard and the yolk did not run, the hollandaise sauce was too light and had no flavor. I also ordered a bagel one morning and it came out, no joke, as burnt as you can imagine. I bit into it just to show everyone how hard it was and I couldn't break through it. I asked the waiter for one a little less cooked and he said that that was how they all were. The breakfast also took on average an hour. Lunch in the restaurant also took way to long and the menu was horrible. DO NOT EAT THE MEXICAN FOOD. At dinner the food was slow and the meals were cold. I would suggest getting a sirloin every night on the side in case your meal is as bad as they were for me. The buffet upstairs was always crowded with nowhere to sit and the cleaning people were slow and unhelpful. We never got to order room service because there was no menu in the room and the would not bring us one.
