This was my second time on the Splendor, but this is the first time I traveled with 28 other family and friends. Seven of them were children ages 2-10 and the rest of us were between 17-77 and we all found things to do and had a blast.
I only wish that Karaoke would have been more often than the 2 times they had on a 7 day cruise. Other than that, she ship was nice and clean and the staff were all friendly. Three of the people traveling with us were celebrating birthdays and were pleasantly surprised by our steward when they received $50 off of a spa treatment as well as $25.00 free wine.
I would go on the Splendor again.
Our Cabin was bigger than I expected and very well maintained. The only issue I had was that there was joining doors, and the little girl next door cried all the time about everything.. I felt bad for the grandparents that had brought her on vacation. Other than that the room was great.
This is one of my favorite ports, it always runs so smoothly.
I have been here a few times and love the island BBQ it's so nice to have the food out there.
I didn't take an excursion because I have been here a few times but I did take the sky lift up to the to of a mountain to get some breathtaking photos and it only cost me $21.00
I didn't need to book a tour, as the trolleys are free and take you right up to the Ruins you can jump on and off where ever you like.. Also, love the authentic food we always make sure we get some rice and beans and some meat pies off of the food truck.
No excursion needed here, I love to rent a floaty Tube for $14.00 for the day and just relax all day with a nice cold beer and the sun shining down on me.
