Sail Date: Feb 2016

This was our first time sailing with Viking Ocean Cruises and I have to say it was by far the best cruise we have ever taken. We have sailed before on the regular cruise lines and were very impressed by all that Viking had to offer.

We were met at the airport in Rome and taken by bus to the port of embarkation in Civitavecchia. Our checkin was quick and efficient. We were greeted as we embarked the ship and quickly found our cabin. Our room attendant greeted us warmly and gave us a rundown on the cabin. The cabins are comfortable and each has a balcony. the bathrooms have heated floors and are larger than what you find on a regular cruise line. The closet space is very ample and there are many more choices of what you can watch on TV.

We ate at 4 of the restaurants on board (The World Cafe, The Kitchen, Manfredi's and the pool bar). There was plenty of variety and all was delicious!
