We arrived early so embarkation was good and speedy, all staff we encountered were smiley and friendly. Very Italian atmosphere on ship, many Italian cruisers! One big criticism and it's about fellow guests, why do so few use hand gel which is available in so many places, people just walk past as if it's not for them!

We found food in buffet fine, a bit crowded at peak times and bit short of options at 'British teatime' but it is Italian, so no worries, used it late at night too. All public rooms are really nice and we felt there was a good flow i.e. from one end of ship to the other you could walk from bar to bar and music in most of them in evening.

We had 1st sitting in Golden lobster, our waiter and staff were lovely - I would say the food in main dining rooms was 'adequate' not brilliant. We went for wine package and very satisfied. The entertainment each evening was superb - the on-ship crew and entertainers (singers, musicians around the ship) were so enjoyable. Christmas decorations still up for a few days and ship looked really pretty.

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

excellent, the adjoining room occupants were very noisy late at night but guess can't do much about that! always clean and our cabin steward was lovely, so hard-working

Port Reviews

Barcelona

love Barcelona, took ship courtesy bus and walked and walked !

Marseille

it was a very cold day, took courtesy bus and then found little train which took us around town (a bit grubby, but that's not the ship's fault!)

Genoa

used courtesy bus and got on the Red tourist bus, just loved Genoa, so historical and pretty
