Sail Date: Dec 2015

This was our 11th cruise and second with P&O. On the plus side the direct transfer from the airport to the ship was hassle free and our cabin was nice. However the ship is too big and impersonal. The economies of scale are all for the cruise line and not for the passengers. No space on deck on sailing days. The so called freestyle dining often involved a long wait.

The food was very poor -on gala night, a nearly empty shell posing as a lobster was the nadir- Marco Pierre White and James Martin must have put their names to the menus..taken the money and run. There seems to be a surliness among the waiting staff that pervades through the whole ship. This lack of cheerfulness indicates an unhappy ship.

P&O management really should address this.

Cabin comfortable and kept clean by attentive steward.
