Cruise from West Coast is limited. Carnival cruises to Ensenada are inexpensive option.

Embarkation was an hour wait in line, however cabin was ready by the time we came aboard. First lunch buffet was poor quality. First dinner was very slow service...45 minutes before first appetizer arrived and another 20 minutes for main course. Wait for desert 15 minutes.

Cabin was adequate and good cleaning service for all 4 days. Comedians were funny. Main stage shows not appealing to older cruisers. Casino crowded and smokey. Dinning room brunch on at sea day was good. Next 3 dinners were better food and service than day one. Lunch and breakfast buffets also improved. Bakery items were very good. Disembarkation went well.

Annoying street vendors compete for dollars. Name bracelets a good buy for grandkids...pick vendor you like. Visit fish market and find quiet place on embarcadero to visit with locals and have a Mexican beer.
