Overall a very good value cruise.
We booked a "guarantee" balcony and were given 4175 which is a VC second from the stern starboard side. Despite the location the cabin was very quiet with no noise or vibration problem, Balcony was larger than standard which was a plus.
Embarkation very smooth and went to the dining room for Mariner's lunch. It is a welcome alternative to the buffet free-for-all.

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom
We booked a "guarantee" balcony and were given 4175 which is a VC second from the stern starboard side. Despite the location the cabin was very quiet with no noise or vibration problem, Balcony was larger than standard which was a plus.Cabin was in good condition with plenty of storage and a decent size shower. Big fluffy towels were a plus. Cabin service was not very good. Several days the room was not serviced until the afternoon and we had to call more than once. It seems on HAL their philosophy in cabin service is to call for everything. Hardly ever saw our stewards.
