This was our 3rd cruise with Carnival. We booked an inside stateroom on Riviera deck. By far this was the way to go. We had a balcony cabin on our last cruise a 7 day cruise on the Carnival Dream. We discovered we didn't use it much and it wasn't as private as we thought it would be. The inside cabin was perfect, it was quiet and very comfortable. The Fascination is a beautiful ship and carnival is a great cruise line. The people are wonderful. We are early risers and like to get outside early. There are lots of places to be outside on the ship. We also walk and utilized the jogging track a lot. The shows on the ship were great, they were musical reviews and the singers were fantastic. We took the behind the fun tour and the city tour in Nassau. We liked the behind the fun tour the best. Nassau was OK, but, it is getting a little tired. Our favorite port was Half Moon Cay. This is a beautiful island and the weather was perfect. We didn't do any excursions on Half Moon Cay, so, we thought we would go relax at the beach for a couple hours and then come back to the ship. We ended up spending all day on the island. There are walking trails, a bar that looks like a pirate ship and of course an expansive beach to explore. I loved the Fascination it has a great feel for an older ship and is really clean. As the cruise director said the first night. " This cruise is a party and carnival has given us a 500 Million dollar ship to have it on"

very quiet part of the ship, cabin is comfortable, not a lot of places to sit in the room so you end up lying on the bed. Take a night light. It gets really dark at night. Bathroom is good and comfortable. It is a cruise ship not a hotel. Even though it has better service than a hotel and a lot more fun.
