I have cruised carnival 85 times before, and this was by far the worst cruise i have ever taken. So many problems, I don't know where to begin, so Ill begin at the beginning:

I sent 2 e mails to the cq maitre' d, requesting a large, round table, as we always do, as we enjoy chatting with our table mates. Both e mails were ignored, and we were seated at a small (8 person) rectangular table in the aft of the ship, despite our cabin being located very far forward. We changed to anytime dining, and still never had more than 4 people at our table during the 8 nights we cruised. We didn't even stay for coffee or desert once, and we sometimes attend dinner only for that, to chat w our table mates.

Our departure from ft. Lauderdale was delayed until 1 am, so the casino never opened the first night. The casino is one of the prime reasons we cruise!

Antigua

Antigua was ok, but poorer than i remembered. They redid kings casino nicely, adding chandeliers to their quanset hut casino. Last time there, no one, cops, restaurant workers next door, knew when of if the casino opened on sunday. Noon, 3 pm, 6 pm and not at all on sunday were the 4 replies i got.
