This was our second Cunard trip, the first being a transatlantic crossing on QM2 last year. The Queen Elizabeth is a beautiful ship.
We had booked a Princess Grill suite which was very comfortable and gave a lot of advantages such as Princess Grill open dining and a separate grills deck at the top of the ship which gave a great view for sail aways. The service from cabin steward to waiters to wine steward was consistently cheerful and helpful. Every member of crew on the ship greeted us with the same enthusiasm. We did see some passengers being less than courteous to some staff which we felt unnecessary and downright rude.
Embarkation was speedy and efficient, our luggage arriving five minutes after we entered our stateroom. The stateroom was spotless and well appointed. Throughout our cruise owe cabin stewardess kept everything in good order. There was plenty of storage space
A good mid ships location near the B lifts/ stairs. A very little noise from Lido restaurant above but it never bothered us.
The largest of the ports on this cruise. We took the HOHO bus as it was raining and this turned out to be a really good and informative ride.
The most beautiful place with a real local feel in spite of being so busy with 3 cruise ships in port
A picture postcard resort. We organised the train ride in advance on the Internet so it was easy to get on. The ride was OK but not as spectacular as we expected.
A great town to walk around and soak up the atmosphere
Embarkation only
