First, a little background on me- I'm an avid cruiser in my late 20's and almost always cruise with Carnival though I have been on Royal Caribbean and Disney cruise lines as well. This cruise marked my 7th with Carnival and it was definitely the most unique experience I have ever had on a cruise.
The very first thing I want to note is that from the moment I got to the port, this cruise definitely felt different. There were VERY few children on board as opposed to the other cruises that I have been on which were about 60-70% families with children. This cruise had mostly 20-30 somethings all looking to drink heavily and have a good time. It was definitely a new experience being on a cruise that is essentially a 3-day long booze cruise where the sober ones felt like the minority.
Now- the good the bad and the ugly:
The cabin was very small with stains and fading in the carpit. The beds were decently comfortable and the window was nice and big. The location was quiet, we never heard any crazy noise coming from above, below, or next to us. All in all, very good cabin considering the age/state of the ship.
