This was our first cruise and to be honest we were not 100% sure what to expect as a couple in their 30s travelling without children. What we got was a wonderful experience, throughout the ship the attention to service was generally very good. The highlight of the curise was Glacier Bay where we witnessed the power and beauty of nature.

As some others have mentioned here we were unfortunate enough to be on the cruise that was unable to dock in Skagway and then unable to see the Hubbarb Glacier, both due to weather and safety. Whilst this was disappointing the crew did the best to make a bad situation better. Haines while unspectacular at least let us stretch out legs on the day we should have been in Skagway.

Food was generally good although the constant hand washing reminders and silly songs did get a little annoying after a while. It gets very busy at certain times in the Garden Buffet, we therefore tended to eat our main meal in the sit down restaurant where the service was attentive and the food good. On one night we tried one of the specialist restaurants (which cost extra) and this was also very enjoyable and a bit more intimate as the dining area is that much smaller. Read more
