This was my fifth cruise, my fourth with Carnival. I just returned from an 8 day Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Conquest. I was traveling with my lifelong friend for a girl's getaway. Embarkation was smooth and our cabin was ready upon our arrival. Our balcony cabin on the Lido was conveniently located and super quiet. Our cabin steward was attentive and efficient, bringing a fan immediately upon our request. The room would not have been comfortable temperature wise without it. However, the shower overflowed beginning the first evening. The refrigerator was room temperature at best. It took several days to get the shower fixed, so we mopped up every evening after showering. It took two days to get the fridge replaced. My concern is with the way guest services responded to our requests for help. ma'am, the refrigerator is really a cooler, not a fridge, so it won't be getting cold. Really? Funny how the temp was cold when they replaced the unit. When I reported the shower was not fixed after reporting it 5 times, I was told " well I don't see that reflected in the record".

Regarding on board activities, the scheduling was extremely awkward. We had late seating dining and it was difficult to make the shows. The Brits" was embarrassingly amateurish. While the juggler was a good juggler, there was no showmanship, no music, no lighting, not even a wireless mic for the performer. Although I did not personally attend the adult Quest, I was told by our dining companions that participants were nude, yes, nude. Apparently if you are 18 you can see full nudity on a Carnival cruise.

We booked one excursion through carnival for a snorkel trip. We were happy with this excursion.

Disappointed in Maho beach. Very rocky and hard to access.
