Britannia received some of the worst reviews we've read. As seasoned cruisers we were skeptical to say the least. We have high expectations and the reviews had us worried - but in vain. We were on Britannia's maiden voyage to Norway and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Booked in a B2 suite with freedom dining we can criticise little. Yes the layout is odd - the stairs (or lack of them) is frustrating. The balconies are disappointing but the the service, the staff, the food were excellent. The ship and its crew were of a high standard. The food was spot on from lunch on embarkation day to breakfast on debarkation day was as good as on any cruise line - and we've been on many. We enjoyed ourselves- in fact we've booked another with our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter for next year.
