Doing Faster to the Fun was well worth it because we were on the ship and off the ship quicker then I ever imagined. The size and different areas of the ship were beautiful and amazing. Other areas were less than desirable. Our room was dated and the bed was uncomfortable with the 2 mattresses constantly coming apart and there was thick dust in certain areas and the sofa had not been cleaned between guests. The service in the main dining room as well as the food the first couple nights was not very good but the last couple was great. We didn't get to enjoy many areas due to all the kids in the hot tubs or in different areas I wouldn't think they should be allowed. The children were allowed to get their own food, just touching all over the buffet food with their hands on several occasions and playing with the ice cream machines. There were foul odors in some of the elevators, stairway areas, and in some other common areas. The room service and room steward were above satisfactory. Some of the entertainment was very repetitive during the day and there wasn't much variety offered for day time entertainment. We had a great time at the Dolphin Swim and Ride in Cozumel although the food was terrible. We also enjoyed the Uxmal Ruins in Progresso but the meal should not even be considered as a benefit to this excursion and the ride there was terrible. It was very organized as to how we got on and off the ship. We parked at the EZ park and had no trouble at all with prompt service and discount codes accepted. We stayed at the Candlewood Suites in Texas City and it was only a 15 min drive to the port. It was great suite for cheaper then the Galveston hotels and we slept great. Maybe my expectations were too high but I think our next cruise we will be looking for something less kid friendly or something.

Cabin 6B

It was a bit dated and not very clean. There was thick dust in the headboard area. The sofa had small black hairs left from the previous attendants. The shower is small. The window is dirty.

Galveston

Stay at the Candlewood Suites. You won't have a breakfast included but the price of my room was nearly $30 cheaper then the cheapest hotel in Galveston. It was well worth it. We grabbed a quick breakfast that was much less than $30. After all you will be eating well your entire cruise.
