The Carnival is an elegant ship that has aged very well. We originally were going to do two back to back RCCL cruises, but we couldn't beat the itinerary and price on this cruise. The stops were Grand Cayman, Aruba, Bonaire, Grenada, Dominica, and St. Maarten. We have been to all these islands before and love them all.
One of my favorite things about sailing Carnival is the free lemonade and the free 24-7 soft serve ice cream. The dining room food was good, as was the service. Our only complaint was after 11 nights the singing waiters got old. One or two nights would have been fine, but every night was a bit much.
All the staff were very friendly. I would give them all 5 stars.
Typical inside cabin. Not the biggest we have ever had, but not the smallest either. Biggest complaint is the king bed had to be pushed all the way to the far wall, so I had to sleep against the wall. No in-room refrigerator. We picked deck seven so we would have cabins above and below. No noise to speak of.
