This is my second cruise. 7 day cruise through southern Carribbean islands. Loved the whole Jewel of the Seas experience from embarkation to debarkation. Getting on board was an easy 5 minute process. The ship is beautiful, wood, glass, chrome and brass. Everything is kept clean and shiny. Staterooms were cosy but nice as well. If you store your luggage under the bed there is plenty of room and the deck is big and the views beautiful. The ship had plenty of things to do while waiting for your luggage to be delivered to your room and the wait was much shorter than they said it would be.The food was good in the Windjammer buffet and our dinners at the Tides every night were wonderful. I highly recommend the rasberry sorbet and the Creme brûlée! Our head waitress, Daniella from Romania, was amazing! She remember our likes and anticipated our wishes. She gave us some insider information about the next days stop. I can't say enough about how the entire staff made our cruise so enjoyable. They were all excellent. The Vortex disco at the top of the ship was a favorite hang out for late night, as I love to dance. The Schooner Bar and club were classy. The Centrum activities and music were very good though. I think the only draw backs were the nightly shows And the casino. They could have been better. We arranged our own excursions so can't comment on the RC excursions. Our Royal Caribbean experience was terrific and I would recommend Jewel of the Seas.
